Speaker of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Arrives in Mongolia for an Official Visit

Ulaanbaatar, April 23, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev arrived in Mongolia today to pay an official visit to Mongolia at the invitation of Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav.


Deputy Chairman of the State Great Khural Munkhbaatar Lkhagva, Member of the Parliament and Chairperson of the Mongolia-Kyrgyzstan Inter-Parliamentary Group in the State Great Khural Beisen Bulan, and other officials greeted Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev and esteemed delegates. 


During the visit, Chairman Zandanshatar Gombojav and Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev will hold official talks and exchange views on relations between the two countries, inter-parliamentary cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.


This visit is remarkable as it is the first visit of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic to Mongolia. The official visit is expected to boost political dialogue and mutual trust between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, strengthen cooperation between legislative bodies, and solidify the legal basis of relations.
